At Future Lighting, we want you to be happy with your purchase. This policy outlines your rights and our process for returns, refunds, and warranty claims.

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Change of Mind Returns

We accept change-of-mind returns within 30 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, in its original packaging, and in resaleable condition. Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the customer’s responsibility. Please contact us at admin@futurelighting.com.au before returning an item.

Faulty or Damaged Items

If an item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, contact us within 7 days of delivery at admin@futurelighting.com.au with your order number and photos of the issue. We will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Manufacturer Warranty

Many of our lighting products carry a manufacturer’s warranty in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Warranty terms vary by product and are listed on individual product pages where applicable.

How to Start a Return

Email admin@futurelighting.com.au with your order number, the item(s) you’d like to return, and the reason for the return. We’ll confirm the next steps and, where applicable, provide a return address.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.

Non-Returnable Items

Custom or made-to-order items, and items marked as final sale, are not eligible for change-of-mind returns, unless they are faulty or not as described.
